When Britain’s second royal family – the Beckhams – arrived at Windsor Castle ahead of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding, many pointed out that despite her husband’s ear-to-ear grin, Victoria Beckham wasn’t smiling.
Following the criticism, the designer took to Instagram to share a photo of her logo jumper, which reads: ‘It’s a dark but happy place.’
Clearly pointing to the royal wedding, she captioned the image, “When you’re smiling on the inside 😂😂😂”
Last week, the mother-of-four opened up about the day, saying: “It was just the best day. They looked so happy, and everybody was just so happy for them.”
“Meghan seems like a genuinely lovely woman, who really loves him. It felt very real, very honest.”
And of Meghan’s Givenchy wedding dress, VB said: “I thought she looked absolutely beautiful. It really suited her. I thought it was perfect for her. And Harry looked great.”
