Victoria Beckham’s New Kids Collection Is Too Cute

Here’s your first look at the limited-edition line for Target

Last month, we were lusting over Victoria Beckham’s AW17 collection at New York Fashion Week. Now, we’re trying to get our hands on the designer’s new kids collection for Target.

The 42-year-old has revealed the limited-edition line was inspired by her five-year-old daughter Harper. “You really get a sense of the relationship between Harper and me. This is fun, easy, cute, all of those things. Very honest. Very me,” she said in and interview with InStyle US.

It’s not hard to see why Victoria looked to her daughter for inspiration; Harper is a fashion icon in her own right. She regularly sits in the front row at fashion week next to Anna Wintour and can’t leave the house without making a street style headline.

Inspired by Harper’s style, the collection features gingham prints and sweet bunny motifs. Wearing the adorable designs, a group of a little girls sat down with Victoria to interview her about her footwear choices. “How young is too young to wear heels?” the budding young journalists asked. “I think it’s cooler to wear a flat shoes,” Victoria answered. “There’s nothing wrong with dressing up with mummy and playing with heels, but I think it’s way cooler when you go out to wear a really cool flat shoe, and then you can move around easily.”

In an interview with U.K show This Morning last year, Victoria revealed that at five years old, Harper is already a professional at walking in heels. “She’s been able to run in platforms for a few years now!” she exclaimed. “She can wear heels like most grown-ups cannot.”

The Target collection will be available in the US from April 9, but won’t be released in Australia. BRB, booking a flight to the States…
