Earlier this week, the 45-year-old announced that she has collaborated with leading stem cell and biomedical scientist, Professor Augustinus Bader, in the creation of a new moisturiser.

The $95 (USD) Cell Rejuvenating Priming Moisturiser is described as the first of its kind and has combined Beckham’s “iconic glowing skin” with Bader’s technology.

Designed to support cell turnover while activating the skin’s own regenerative process, it is clinically proven to “plump and tone skin” leaving it more “radiant, replenished, firmed and lifted”.

If that isn’t enough to see us pop the product into our shopping basket, the must-have also promises to reduce the appearance of pores and imperfections.

“I have been working on this for a long, long time and it has been a dream to develop, with Augustinus, a priming moisturiser that works to improve the health of my skin and gives that fresh, natural glow that I love,” the mother-of-four wrote on Instagram.

Although the collaboration may be a first for the designer, it’s not entirely surprising as she joins a list of celebrities who have Bader’s cult product, The Cream, sitting proudly on their bathroom shelf.

The news comes after Beckham made her foray into the beauty sphere with the launch of her eponymous makeup line during London Fashion Week in September 2019 – a decade after kickstarting her fashion label.

According to the website, the products are designed for the “modern individual who lives life on-the-move and to the fullest”.

“There’s something really liberating about embracing who I am at 45-years-old and owning it, feeling confident, feeling content,” Beckham told Glamour UK.

“Doing beauty has really helped with that – it’s been very liberating. I want to spread the word that everybody should feel like the best version of themselves,” she continued. “To look after what you have. I want to tell people to own who you are. Yes, we – and I – have wrinkles, and that’s OK!”
