“When I’m in [New York City], I like boxing at Gotham Gym. When I’m in Paris or London I’ll just work out in the hotel gym.''- Kendall Jenner. The 21 year-old supermodel gave us a look at her easy daily workout routine of just 11- minutes to her app, her favourite core exercises being forearm plank, elbow-to-knee crunches, Russian twists and donkey kicks.
''When time is on my side, I train with my coach for intensive sessions. I run non-stop for 20 minutes, followed by a boxing session, and finally a series of weights targeting the abs and glutes. We keep the routines varied, so the sessions are always fun.'' -Bella Hadid
''I don’t really like taking classes, so I focus on exercises that I can do on my own. I mainly do simple things like planks, push-ups, box squats, and crunches on a medicine ball with small weights in high repetitions.'' -Cindy Bruna
''Well, I like to mix cardio with bodyweight exercises. Adriana (Lima) is really into kickboxing, so that’s really great cardio, and then Candice (Swanepoel) kind of inspired me to go.'' -Devon Windsor
''I workout everyday,' confessing that she rotates a schedule of Aerospace, SLT, Ballet Beautiful and Pilates. ‘’I hate training by myself, but I love to take classes.'' -Romee Strjid
''I’ve been doing my own kind of yoga. It’s not traditional yoga, but I put on some music and mix in some Pilates and squat resistance stuff I’ve learned over the years. It’s calm: I can meditate through it and get some flow with some music. I try at least twice a week.'' -Candice Swanepoel
''I try every day to walk as much as I can. When I’m at the gym I do yoga, abs, low intensity cardio, and I always sit in the sauna to sweat out all of the toxins in my body.'' -Alanna Arrington
''My fitness routine consists of high intensity weight training mixed with some sort of cardio, preferably jump rope!'' -Grace Elizabeth. The 19 year old also swears by sweat yoga on Instagram. ''After an hour full of sweat yoga, I became inspired to try it on my own.''
''Get a workout partner; it’s easier to work out when you have company. And plank: the plank is the best ab exercise ever.'' -Sara Sampaio
''I try to do pilates when I can all year around and I also like to swim a lot. I also have a trainer that kicks my but when it’s needed.'' -Behati Prinsloo Levine
''I eat healthily and exercise- yoga and boxing.'' -Xiao Wen Ju
''Boxing has been great for me because it’s like my new sport, and it’s something that I can get better at.'' -Gigi Hadid
The VS model credits her shape of 10 years to Michael Olajide, Jr., at New York City’s Aerospace. ''It’s the only thing I do for exercise,'' she says of her 90 minute sessions. -Adriana Lima
''I try to exercise at least four to five times a week and like to switch up my routine each day. I will either train with Justin Gelband, take a spinning class at Soul Cycle, a ballet class at Ballet Beautiful or a strength training pilates class at S.LT. I am always trying new classes and techniques!'' -Karlie Kloss
''I love Ballet Beautiful. It’s changed my body in a beautiful way. But I hate running. I can’t get in that zone that people talk about.'' -Lily Aldridge
''This year I’ve been adding a lot of weights into my training, which I’ve really enjoyed because it makes me feel really strong. I feel stronger than I’ve ever felt, which is a great feeling.'' -Martha Hunt
''I do hour long sessions…like weights and toning. It’s not about bulking up, it’s about lengthening and strengthening your muscles and toning them and making them long and lean. I do hikes; I do swimming.'' -Stella Maxwell
''I love boxing, and I try to mix it up as much as I can. Boxing makes you kind of tight, so it's really good to mix that with barre, pilates, or something that'll stretch you out and make you longer.'' -Elsa Hosk
''I’ve always been active. But it’s been a long process to figure out what works for me. What worked was lifting weights. It did wonders for my body, I really notice how it has changed the shape.'' -Joesphine Skriver. Skriver also mentioned her go-to moves in the gym, such as bicep curls and tricep dips.
''I went to Dogpound again and worked on my core for one hour and thirty minutes at 6 a.m. When working on my core we do a lot of exercises on the Bosu ball. One of the exercises I like to do is a plank with the Bosu ball turned upside down and my hands on top. While in a plank position I bring one leg to the outside and upward to touch my elbow and then return to a plank position, switching legs each time.'' -Jasmine Tookes
''We do a lot of slow, muscle-targeting movements with gliding discs and one-kilo weights. Almost kind of floor pilates in a way, because we get on the floor and she puts resistance bands around my ankles and things like that. It's so hard—it doesn't sound hard and it doesn't look hard, but I could back squat, like, forty kilos, and I quiver when I do this.'' -Taylor Hill
