Rare Footage of Marilyn Monroe On Her Wedding Day Released

New footage of the iconic star has been released

Some 54 years after her death, the world remains just as enamored with screen legend Marilyn Monroe as they ever were.

And now never-before-seen footage of the iconic star has been released by photographer Milton H. Greene, who was friends with the late actress.  

The clips include footage from her third wedding to Arthur Miller, showing off the blonde bombshell’s stunning gown, and showing the happy couple stealing a kiss.

Monroe and Milton became firm friends after meeting on a the set of a photoshoot for Look magazine in 1953.

“They spent a lot of time together and she often ran to Milton and his family for an escape from the pressures of Hollywood,” Timothy White, the co-owner of the gallery, told Vanity Fair.

“With that trust came the access and opportunity for Milton to be with her and to photograph her freely. He became a trusted confidant who always had his still and movie camera with him as he documented her life.”

The footage, as well as a series of still photographs are currently on display at the Morrison Hotel Gallery at the Sunset Marquis Hotel in West Hollywood.
