What Really Happens Behind The Scenes On A Chanel Shoot?

Caroline de Maigret gives us a tour

She’s the living embodiment of French girl style, and now Caroline de Maigret has treated us all to a behind-the-scenes glimpse of Chanel’s latest campaign film.

A cinematic ode to the new Gabrielle bag, the short film, directed by Olivier Assayas, was shot in black and white in a Parisian apartment.

In the below behind-the-scenes clip, de Maigret reveals just what went down on set: “Today’s shoot was an incredible experience with very talented people, Olivier Assayas and his team. I go into a Parisian apartment and arrive at a photo shoot I had with Karl. It’s a nod from Olivier Assayas to Karl Lagerfeld. I take Chanel’s Gabrielle bag with me, which is like Gabrielle Chanel’s spirit accompanying me. She has always inspired me. I aspire to follow in her footsteps, to possess the unbridled freedom to do what you want when you want.”
