David Jones' Annual Christmas Windows
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas thanks to legacy department store David Jones.
For Sydneysiders, the annual David Jones Christmas window display is as iconic as the Rockefeller Centre Christmas Tree and considering the heritage store has been celebrating Christmas with Australian's since 1838, they've pulled out all the stops for their latest iteration.
Dubbed the "Christmas Of Dreams", this is one gift the entire family can enjoy.
Inspired by the book My Pet Star, over 6,500 hours were spent illuminating and decorating the windows.
But the fun doesn't stop there.
Opening on Level 8, the store has launched 'The Gallery' which promises "a David Jones like no other" including a 'Gifting Cosmos' featuring an array of curated gifting cabins, personalisation counter and spectacular views of Hyde Park.
Plus, David Jones is hosting the ultimate gift giveaway via the 'Gift Galaxy' vending machines popping up in key stores across the country. Prizes include up to $5,000 worth of presents from favourites including La Mer, Dyson and Chloe.
David Jones' Christmas Display is located at Level 7, 86-108 Castlereagh Street, Sydney, NSW, 2000
Bally's Third "Bally Haus" Global Franchise
Sydney's George Street joins the prestigious retail districts of New York's Meatpacking neighbourhood and London's Regent Street as the only home of a global "Bally Haus" flagship store.
Boasting 4500 square feet of pristine Swiss design, art, and craftsmanship, the new flagship is an ode to the brand's heritage as leather architects.
Inspired by the first "Haus", originally located on Milan's high fashion Montenapoleone, the interiors feature custom marble flooring, bespoke terracotta furniture and an evergreen tree along with the best in show in accessories and ready-to-wear from Bally.
This new store is the cure to our Bally blues.
Bally's New "Bally Haus" Flagship is located on 388 George Street, Sydney, NSW, 2000
Cartier's New Oceania Flagship Store With Bespoke Façade Animation
While the highly anticipated Cartier Oceania Flagship isn’t set to open until Spring 2022, the luxury jeweller is celebrating it's forthcoming store with a unique 3D visualisation that wraps the building.
Located in the high-profile newly developed Pavilion Building on George Street, the animation created by Melbourne artist Paul Milinski will pay tribute to our island continent’s unique biodiversity while providing escapism and reprieve from the mundane—something we could all use a little of right now.
The artwork will continue to evolve until the boutique opens, bringing art to the streets of Sydney, and lighting up the CBD landscape following life after lockdown.

Brie Leon's Pop-Up Newtown Store
Cult accessories brand Brie Leon is here to get you in the summer spirit with the launch of it's SS21-22 collection, and are popping up with an balmy retail space in Sydney’s hip inner-west to boot.
It's latest offering is inspired by summer nights on a Mediterranean holiday, so we have no doubts the store will instantly transport us to the Adriatic or Amalfi Coast, the perfect cure for our Balearic blues.
With a feminine and eminently cool sensibility, Brie Leon’s new styles (which are all sustainably crafted from PETA approved vegan leather) will have us bar hopping down King Street in no time. The only thing missing? You.

Lucy Folk's Second Sydney Store
Eponymous lifestyle brand Lucy Folk is bringing its nomadic vibes to the heart of Paddington’s lauded retail district with the launch of its second store in William Street—just when we thought the neighbourhood couldn’t get any better.
Considering it's dreamy Bondi store is an artistic escape and aesthetic delight, we’re sure we'll be escaping the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street and Glenmore Road in this cozy corner, equipped with only the finest finishes and furnishing.
As Lucy herself says, for those who seek out the unconventional, Lucy Folk has insatiable appeal. Feel free to look no further.
