Every single second of Selling Sunset is jam-packed with all kinds of drama and escapades. But after season five’s controversial finale, there looked to be a fresh spot opening up in the Oppenheim Group.

With Christine seemingly out of the West Hollywood real estate group, fans are wondering who will replace her for season six. But instead of sourcing another pair of famous realtors to take her spot, Selling Sunset have decided to bring on two new faces to make their reality TV debuts.

Enter: Nicole Young.

One of two new members to join the cast, Young and Bre Tiesi are set to join real estate forces with our favourites, including Chrishell Stause, Mary Fitzgerald, Heather Rae Young, Chelsea Lazkani and Amanza Smith.

And with Selling Sunset‘s fifth season already sitting proudly on Netflix, why not spend some time getting acquainted with the Oppenheim recruits that are sure to take over your screens soon enough.

Here, everything you need to know about Nicole Young—from her multi-million dollar real estate portfolio to connection with the Oppenheim Group.

She might be new to Selling Sunset but she’s not new to the Oppenheim Group

While every newcomer to Selling Sunset are, well, new to the company, Young is far from. In fact, she’s been a broker at the Oppenheim Group for the entirety of the show.

According to the company’s website, Young is “always a loyal and fierce advocate of her clients’ best interests” and “has an extraordinary ability to negotiate and come up with creative solutions in order to execute any deal”.

Considered the “O.G.” of the Oppenheim Group, Young has been the longest-standing and top-producing realtor for the brokerage, boasting USD $100 million in sales, as per Deadline. And now, she’s clearly sick of watching the rest of her team have all the fun and is ready to get her hands dirty on the reality show.

“I am definitely going to be bringing a lot of real estate to the table, which I’m very excited about,” she told US Weekly. “Not just the properties, but my clients and the relationships I have with them because at the end of the day, relationships are the most important aspect of real estate.”

She officiated Mary and Romain’s season two wedding

Diehard fans of Selling Sunset may have spotted Young out and about while watching the show. In fact, her most notable appearance was in the season two finale, when Mary and Romain were married in the backyard of one of Mary’s listed properties—which she successfully sold on the day.

Rather than sitting in the audience, Young was actually the ceremony’s officiant with the agent cracking some seriously funny one-liners, like referring to the couple as “a walking Calvin Klein ad”.

She was supposed to join Selling Sunset for season one

While she’s been popping up in the background of episodes of Selling Sunset since the dawn of time, Young was apparently meant to be a part of the show’s original cast.

According to Page Six, Young was set to join the first ever episodes of the show back in 2019, however, she changed her decision to join the cast because she got “cold feet”.

She’s married and is the mother to a sweet French bulldog and Brussels Griffon

As for a significant other, Young married her husband, Brandon, back in 2017. Recently, the couple shared a seriously sweet ode to their marriage when celebrating their five-year anniversary on Instagram.

“5 years!! Happy anniversary my love,” she wrote in her Instagram caption. “Time flies when you marry your best friend.”

“4.22.17 was the best day of my life, not because our epic wedding was the best party we’ve ever thrown, but because it was the day I became your wife and the day we became a family. I am so proud to call you my husband and so grateful to have you by my side through thick and thin.”

And while she may not have any children, she is a dog mum to a Brussels Griffon and a French bulldog.

She has a degree in marketing and PR

According to her Oppenheim Group bio, Young was born and raised in Minneapolis, went to college at Baylor University in Texas and moved to Los Angeles in 2007 after she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in marketing and public relations.
