Despite Kanye West declaring he’s a creative genius and often noting he’s going to run for President of the United States in 2020, a body language expert says the rapper gives off the sense of a “lack of ego” when standing beside his wife, Kim Kardashian.
Speaking The Independent, Darren Stanton says that the power couple has a go-to red carpet stance: Kim at the front, usually showing off a bit of leg, with Kanye standing behind her.
“[Kanye] makes himself appear smaller and more subservient as he is being careful not to steal any of the attention,” Stanton says.
He “is using Kim as a proactive barrier, allowing him to sink into his surroundings and take the emphasis off himself.”
Stanton continued to say that in his relationship with Kim, Kanye has no ego. “He’s happy for her to receive most or all of the attention.”
Body language expert Patti Wood went one step further, saying Kim holds the dominant role in the marriage.
“If the woman is far forward with her full body from the feet up facing the camera, she is showing that she wants to be seen as number one,” Wood explains.
Now if only we could use these experts to find out if Married At First Sight‘s Sarah and Telv are still together…
