‘Will & Grace’ Is Ending – Again

Honey... It's last drinks

Say it isn’t so: Everyone’s favourite co-dependent duo Will & Grace are set to say goodbye after season 11, the NBC sitcom’s producers have announced. After originally ending the long-running show in 2006, the cast returned in 2017 for an additional three seasons, yet now they’re saying farewell for the very last time.

“We think of the Will & Grace [revival] episodes the way Karen Walker thinks of martinis — 51 is not enough, 53 is too many.

“That is why, after consulting with the cast, we all have decided this will be the final season of Will & Grace,” executive producers Max Mutchnick, David Kohan and James Burrows said in a statement.

Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Megan Mullally, and Sean Hayes originally signed on for a ten-episode revival and now 52 episodes later are thanking fans for living out a once-in-a-lifetime career opportunity – TWICE.

The show received national attention on the political stage in 2012 when Vice President Joe Biden said, “I think Will & Grace did more to educate the American public more than almost anything anybody has done so far” in recognition of equal marriage rights for gays and lesbians.

Will & Grace earned an astonishing 91 Emmy Award nominations, 18 Emmy wins (including Outstanding Comedy Series) and seven SAG Awards among dozens of other kudos. In addition, the show is one of the few in TV history where each member of the cast won an Emmy.

The finale season of Will & Grace will premiere only on Stan in 2020, the same day as the US. Will & Grace Seasons 1-2 of the series return are available to stream now only on Stan, with all episodes for Seasons 1-8 also available.
