More than 25 years since Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves first teamed up on screen (yes, it’s been that long since Dracula), the beloved stars are reuniting once again.
Our favourite kooks have joined forces for a hopefully hilarious rom-com about socially awkward wedding guests, titled Destination Wedding.
The premise? Lindsay (Winona) and Reeves (Keanu) are both guests at a wedding and are paired up by the hosts, despite instantly hating one another. But, of course, than soon changes.
The real selling point for the film is the pair’s undeniable on-screen rapport.
As director Victor Levin puts it: “They have superb natural chemistry together, which is so important for a love story…Keanu and Winona are stars for a reason: they have huge talent and skill, and they work very hard.”
He told PEOPLE: “They rehearsed their dialogue together, helped each other, made everybody laugh — they were delightful. They are the movie. It’s about their characters and the healing power of love and laughter.”
