Calling all Younger fans: this one is for you.
Your first look at the trailer for Younger season 6 is here. Liza (Sutton Foster) and Charles’ (Peter Hermann) relationship might be out in the open, but their struggles as a couple are just beginning.
“Liza’s been through a lot, and from what I understand, so have you,” Maggie is shown telling Charles in the trailer. “Sometimes it makes two people perfect for each other, and other times those two people can drag each other down like anchors.”
Created by Darren Starr of Sex And The City fame, the hotly anticipated new season premieres Jun 13th on Stan. Before you watch the preview, here’s a quick refresher of where we left off at the end of season 5. Warning spoilers ahead.
Charles was forced to step down from Empirical after news of his affair with Liza became public knowledge. Now Millenial is the flagship company with Kelsey (Hilary Duff) of it all. While Josh (Nico Tortorella) finds out that his going to be a father. “It [the baby]’s going to create a lot of complications for Josh, and I think it’s going to bring Liza very much into Josh’s orbit,” Darren told Entertainment Tonight.
Nico echoed the same message, hinting that his connection with Liza is about to change forever. “Their relationship will never be what it was, and I think Charles and Liza’s relationship is changing and it’ll never be what it was before everyone thought she was 26,” Nico says. “We can’t stick to the past, we have to move forward. Life itself is unpredictable.”
