Congratulations are in order for Zooey Deschanel and husband Jacob Pechenik! According to Us Weekly the New Girl star is expecting her second child.
The pair are already parents to 18-month-old daughter, Elsie Otter, whose unusual name was chosen for the gentle creatures habits. Zooey explained on The Today Show: “They are very sweet and they are also smart. They use tools, they keep their favourite tools. They hold hands while they sleep. There are so many amazing things about otters. Who doesn’t love otters.”
The notoriously private husband and wife kept their marriage and first pregnancy secret for months, surprising everyone when they announced their wedding and newborn baby in August 2015.
