*The* Fashion Awards Are Back Again And We Have Everything You Need To Know

It’s the awards that need no introduction.

And the award goes to… fashion!

After a digital ceremony in 2020, the prestigious Fashion Awards are back and better than ever and we have every reason to be excited.

Taking place on November 29 in London’s famed Royal Albert Hall, the best and brightest leaders of change in the industry will be recognised and honoured on an insurmountable scale.

Hosted by the legendary Billy Porter, who is only one letter away from joining the iconic ‘EGOT’ club, the ceremony will celebrate designers who have created positive change in the industry and shaped fashion globally. Major.

Past honourees of the Fashion Awards include Kim Jones, Stella McCartney, Miuccia Prada and more, so winning one of these highly coveted accolades will put you in good stead, because who doesn’t want to be recognised by their peers and contemporaries on an international stage?

While the ‘Leaders Of Change’, ‘Designer Of The Year’ and ‘BFC Foundation’ winners will be announced during the event, two designers—Tommy Hilfiger and Alessandro Michele for Gucci—have already brought home the proverbial bacon.

Michele will receive the esteemed ‘Trailblazer’ award for his “visionary work to date in positioning Gucci at the intersection of culture, art, music and film”. We couldn’t have said it better if we tried.

Meanwhile, Hilfiger will be honoured with the ‘Outstanding Achievement’ award, thanks to his “outstanding contribution to the global fashion industry, and his continued commitment to creating an inclusive brand that champions people from all backgrounds and experiences”.

We won’t have long to wait for fashion’s night of nights (we’re already anticipating the couture-heavy red carpet), so in the meantime, here’s who nominated for the crème de la crème of fashion accolades.
