To say Netflix drama Ginny & Georgia has us in a vice grip would be an understatement. There’s the toe-curling tension between the show’s many love interests (will Georgia and Joe EVER get together?!), a touch of suspenseful crime and an impeccable cast.

Honestly, the latter is near-offensive when it comes to their level of good looks and acting chops.

In fact, few of the Ginny & Georgia season 3 cast are new to the screen – some veterans of our favourite noughties shows – so you may be wondering where you’ve seen them before and what other shows and films you can catch them in.

Here, we’ve done the research for you, so you don’t need to go digging in their IMBD profiles.

Georgia: Brianne Howey

One half or the formidable mother-daughter-duo, Georgia has become one of Brianne Howey’s most recognisable roles. But, the 36-year-old actress from California has had a decade-long career including roles in Scream Queens, Horrible Bosses 2 and Dollface

More recently, Howey appeared in 2024 film Kinda Pregnant, playing Megan, the best-friend to Amy Schumer’s character Lainey.

Of her character, who is loyal and protective to a fault, Howey told EW, “Truthfully, I grew up with a young single mom. My mom had me at 21, and when I first read the script, there is so much of my mom in Georgia.”

Ginny: Antonia Gentry

Ginny, our favourite rebellious and troubled teen, is played by Antonia Gentry. At just 27-year-old, the role of Ginny is one of Gentry’s first major gigs, but she hasn’t slowed down since. If you want to watch more of her work she’s also appeared in two films since the show premiered; Prom Dates and Time Cut alongside Outer Banks star, Madison Bailey.

As season three begins, we wait to see how Ginny will handle her mum’s arrest, her struggles with mental health and heartbreak over (now ex) boyfriend, Marcus. It’s a lot.

Marcus: Felix Mallard

Our very own, homegrown talent, Felix Mallard, played the brooding yet intoxicating love-interest of Ginny aka Marcus Baker. What is it about a bad boy with a motorbike?

Naturally, Mallard cut his teeth, as many Australian actors do, on Ramsay Street, playing Ben Kirk in Neighbours. One of his first international roles was in YA romance flick, All The Bright Places, starring Elle Fanning. He’s also appeared in episodes of Netflix series, Locke & Key, and more recently starred in John Green book adaptation, Turtles All The Way Down.

Paul Randolph: Scott Porter

He’s a mayor, objectively handsome and an all-round nice guy – Paul is truly a unicorn among fictional men. But, will it be enough to keep Georgia’s heart? We’ll have to wait and see as season three unfolds. Personally, we have a soft spot for the baddies.

If your understandable crush on Porter feels familiar, it’s because you’ve probably swooned over him before. Most likely when he played quaterback Jason Street in Friday Night Lights.

Since that iconic noughties show, Porter has appeared in shows like Heart Of Dixie, The Good Wife and Lucifer, just to name a few.

Joe: Raymond Ablack

Oh, sweet, sweet Joe. How our hearts ache for the gorgeous cafe-owner with a heart of gold that pines for a woman he can’t have. The Joe-Georgia-Paul love triangle continues in season three, and as much as it hurts, we kind of love it.

Ablack has had a long career in film and television, starting with all our teenage dreams by landing a role in Degrassi: The Next Generation. The 35-year-old Canadian actor has also appeared in Maid alongside Margaret Qualley, Love In The Villa, Working Moms and Mistletoe Murders.

Maxine: Sara Waisglass

Real talk: we want Maxine to be our friend in real life. She’s smart, sassy and has a wicked sense of personal style – all of which we can’t wait to see more of this season.

Max is played by Sara Waisglass, another Degrassi alumn, she appeared in The Next Generation and Degrassi: Next Class, as well as the movie, Degrassi: Don’t Look Back. At just 26, she’s got an extensive resume which also includes films Cascade and Suze.

We’re so glad to be seeing more of Ginny’s biological dad, Zion, in the latest seasons. He’s played by Nathan Mitchell, who is best known for his role in hit superhero series, The Boys, where he plays Black Noir.

Mitchell has also appeared in films, Scorched Earth and Doomsday.

Austin: Diesel La Torraca

Sweet, innocent Austin. He’s growing up so fast – fast enough to point and shoot a gun at his dad in season two of the show. Autsin is played by Diesel La Torraca, now 14-years-old, who has, despite his age, already acrued quite the acting resume.

La Torraca has acting credits in Little Monsters, Lambs Of God and Brothers Grimm adaptation, Sweet Tooth alongside Cate Blanchett.

Abby: Katie Douglas

The last we saw of Abby in season two, it was revealed at a party in Brodie’s basement that she had been struggling with bulimia. As season three continues, we expect to see more of Abby’s story unfold. As for who plays her in the show, Canadian-born actress, Katie Douglas.

Douglas was previously in 2024 film, Lazareth opposite Ashley Judd and Sarah Pidgeon, and TV Series, Mary Kills People.
