Netflix’s long-awaited answer to all our Ginny & Georgia season 3 is finally here, with new episodes about to drop in Australia on Thursday 5 June.
It’s been a tense couple of years for fans of the complex mother and daughter duo, after season two ended with a heartbreaking cliffhanger.
We watched Georgia being arrested and dragged away from her fairytale wedding in handcuffs for the murder of Cynthia’s husband, Tom, and. We can still remember young Austin’s tear-filled eyes as he raced after the police car that threatened to pull apart his family once more. And as dramatic as that sounds, the season finale certainly set the tone for the emotional rollercoaster to come.
Ahead of the release, we break down everything you need to know about the Gilmore Girls-esque drama (with a modern twist), including when you can expect Ginny & Georgia season 3 to start streaming in Australia.
What Time Is Ginny & Georgia Season 3 Coming Out In Australia?

Set your alarms Australia, because you’re in for an evening treat!
All 10 episodes of Ginny & Georgia season 3 will be available to stream on Netflix in Australia from 5pm local time from this Thursday, June 5.
Luckily for local audiences, we’ll be getting every new episode at the same time as international subscribers, meaning we won’t have to suffer through spoilers.
What Is Season 3 About?

Season three kicks off exactly where season two ended – with Georgia staring down the barrel of a lengthy prison sentence as the picturesque family life she’d fought so hard to create starts to unravel.
Showrunner Sarah Glinski told Tudum ahead of the new season’s release that audiences can expect even more from the mother-daughter-duo as their relationship is tested like never before.
“It’s incredibly complex, filled with lots of love but also lots of pain,” says Glinski of the challenges that lie ahead for Ginny and Georgia. “This season, we’ll see it evolve in unexpected ways. These women don’t start and end the season the same people.”
Fan favourites like Marcus (played by Australian actor Felix Mallard), and Ginny’s best friend Max (played by Sara Waisglass), are set to play an even bigger role this season, according to Glinski. “We also dig deeper into other relationships — some we’ve seen before, and some we haven’t.”
The show synopsis also promises to delve into a new side of Ginny as she finally begins to realise the sacrifices her mother has made in order to keep her family safe all these years.
“Georgia is definitely pushed to her limits this season, and she has to survive scenarios she’s never had to survive before,” said Brianne Howey (Georgia) ahead of its release.
Needless to say, we’ll be waiting with bated breath to see what season 3 has in store, but until then, we’ll just be watching the trailer on repeat.
