Blake Lively has just secured her first film role since the birth of baby number two, daughter Ines – and it’s a far cry from her days as Gossip Girl’s Serena Van Der Woodsen.

Lively will play single mother and disgraced mixed martial arts fighter Jackie in Bruised, a drama that sees her “get back in the cage for one last chance to fight for redemption and give her son the life she always wanted,” Deadline reports.
Bruised will be directed by The Notebook’s Nick Cassavetes and will require Lively to commit to rigorous training sessions.
It’s nothing the star can’t handle, however: Lively told Deadline her fitness regime won’t be anywhere near as intense as her work for The Shallows. “I’m not ready to go work out like that again,” she admitted.
