Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo have welcomed their third child four months after the Maroon 5 frontman became the subject of an immense cheating scandal.
The new arrival joins older sisters, six-year-old Dusty Rose and four-year-old Gio Grace, making the couple parents of three.
Prinsloo’s pregnancy has been documented on Instagram, with the former Victoria’s Secret model sharing photos from her maternity photoshoot and sweet baby bump selfies.
Levine and Prinsloo met through a mutual friend in 2012 and tied the knot in Mexico, one year later. The family currently lives in California.
The couple experienced their fair share of challenges last year, with Levine becoming embroiled in an alleged cheating scandal.
Just days after the pregnancy was announced on Instagram, TikTok creator Sumner Stroh posted a video to the platform, stating that she and Levine had engaged in a year-long affair.
Stroh also shared screenshots of her conversations with Levine, including a message from the Maroon 5 frontman where he asked if he could name his third child after Stroh.
“OK serious question. I’m having another baby and if it’s [a] boy I really wanna name it Sumner. You OK with that? DEAD serious,” Levine wrote in the message to Stroh.
Levine quickly denied any accusations of a physical affair but admitted to crossing the line during his interactions with Stroh.
On his Instagram story, Levine wrote, “I used poor judgement in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life. In certain instances it became inappropriate; I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family.”
“My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naïve and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it. And we will get through it together.”
The couple put on a united front in the aftermath of the scandal, with Prinsloo joining Levine backstage at his Event Charity Gala show and at a family beach day in California soon after.
At this stage, the couple haven’t revealed any information around their new arrivals name but we’re guessing it won’t to be Sumner.
