Adele Shares Rare Instagram To Celebrate Her 32nd Birthday

She sent a special shoutout to those on the frontline

Adele isn’t letting social distancing get in the way of a major milestone. The singer took to Instagram to thank her fans for the birthday wishes as she turned 32 this week.

“Thank you for the birthday love. I hope you’re all staying safe and sane during this crazy time,” she wrote. “I’d like to thank all of our first responders and essential workers who are keeping us safe while risking their lives! You are truly our angels ♥️ 2020 okay bye thanks x”

She also shared a rare photo, standing in a floral wreath in her backyard. Noticeably, Adele had her laptop perched upon a stand – potentially having a virtual celebration with friends and family. She even dressed up for the occasion!

Her birthday picture marked Adele’s first Instagram upload since her Christmas party. At the time she shared a photo alongside the Grinch.

Earlier this year, Adele served as the officiant at her friend Laura Dockrill’s wedding to musician Hugo White at the Mason Arms pub in London. The “Hello” hitmaker has certainly been at the centre of fashion headlines recently, and her outfit choice for the special occasion was no exception.

Adele stunned in a romantic Oscar de la Renta floral skirt, paired with a cream short-sleeved turtleneck, nude pointed pumps and a white purse featuring a chain strap. Her dreamy outfit wasn’t the only thing that caught the attention of guests – the singer proving that despite her break from the limelight she can still belt out a tune.

Adele took to the stage to perform a few of her classic hits, including her breakout bop “Rolling in the Deep” and Spice Girls song “Spice Up Your Life.” She was also reportedly joined by singer Florence Welch at one point.

The real treat, however, came in the form of some very important, internet-breaking information that one attendee managed to catch on camera. That’s right guys, we finally have a release date for Adele’s long-awaited album and it’s not as far away as we thought.

Her next album, set to be released in September, will be her first release since the hit-filled, 25, which was released just over four years ago and included the songs “Hello”, “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)” and “Water Under the Bridge”.

There really is nothing like an Adele ballad to get the tears flowing, and with the songstress separating from her husband last year, we’re expecting the upcoming album to be filled with hits.

It’s certainly been a long time coming and we can’t wait to see what the star has in store!
