Alisha Wainwright’s Dad Responds To Those Justin Timberlake Hand-Holding Photos

"She is living her life and doing what she has gotta do"

Pretty much the exact opposite of what you want when photos of you holding hands with a (very famous) married man go viral is a well-meaning parent giving their thoughts on the situation to the press.

But that’s exactly what happened when Alisha Wainwright’s father was asked about the questionable pics of her and her co-star Justin Timberlake which were circulated worldwide earlier this week.

After multiple sources denied there’s anything going on between Alisha and JT, her father, Jeff Wainwright, echoed those sentiments when asked about the situation by the Daily Mail. “She is in New Orleans doing some work, that is all. They are working on a movie together,” he said. “I did not make anything of it, really. I am a music producer, so I am used to all the hoopla. This is the business we are in. This is how it goes.”

He added, “I cannot be telling you whether or not she is in a relationship or things like that. She is a young lady, 30-years-old, she is living her life and doing what she has gotta do. She has always been a big traveler and open-minded. Even if there is something (going on) I would not know. When you are in show business, you separate family from the business. When you are at home with your family, you talk about other things. You don’t talk about this crazy stuff.”

As for where Justin and Jessica’s marriage stands? “They are downplaying everything and trying to laugh it off as nothing,” a source told E! News. “But it was definitely inappropriate and something that would make any wife uncomfortable,” they continued.

“He had too much to drink and got carried away.”

They are “going to move on from this, “the source continued. “Their marriage will survive. He feels guilty and will make it up to her. She is very good to him and he knows how lucky he is. He says it was not a big deal, they were all hanging out together and that’s the end of the story.”
