It seems we aren’t the only ones feeling blessed over the births of Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s twins. Or as they will henceforth be known, the royal babies.
After a week filled with speculation, a source has confirmed the happy news to People saying, “Bey and Jay are thrilled and have started sharing the news with their family and closest friends.”
Earlier, Bey’s father Mathew Knowles took to Instagram to share his excitement – like any proud/dorky Grandad would.
The post, complete with a shameless Instagram handle plug, reads “Happy Birthday to the twins! Love, Granddad” alongside the caption “they’re here!”
And while we find his Microsoft Paint-esque pic adorable, some members of the Beyhive aren’t exactly happy that he was the one to share the news.
While the newborn’s genders are yet to be revealed, people are speculating that the Carter’s have welcomed a baby boy and a baby girl, after a woman was spotted heading into the hospital with pink and blue balloons and a card with ‘B & J’ written on it.
