Sydney Teacher Jailed For Sex With Male And Female Students

He will serve at least six years in prison

A Sydney high school teacher has been sentenced to at least six years in jail for having sex with students—both male and female.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, teacher Cameron White was found guilty of having sexual relationships with two female students and a male student from three school campuses.

The 39-year-old teacher denied having a sexual relationship with any of the complainants. In May, Mr White was found guilty by a jury of 14 counts of aggravated sexual assault and five counts of sexual intercourse with a person under care.

During the trial, one female complainant said she had lost her virginity to Mr White at his Sutherland unit in 2010.

“It hurt, a lot,” she recounted, as reported by news.com.au.

The woman told the court she had returned to the teacher’s home several times. The second female student said she had also lost her virginity to the teacher.

The male victim, who was 14-years-old at the time, told the court he had a “major crush” on Mr White and had sex with him in a car in 2007. The described how Mr White would call him “his bitch” and would “like me to say that I am his bitch”.

According to Nine News, the teacher was sentenced to 11 years, with a non-parole period of six years.
