Inspired by the golden light of sunset, these makeup looks created by Chanel Makeup Artist Victoria Baron using the just-launched Chanel Golden Hour Summer 2025 Makeup Collection add a flattering hue to all skin tones.

Sunset and sunrise tones are some of makeup’s most flattering, and these golden hours of each day are the inspiration for the new Chanel Les Beiges collection by Valentina Li and the Chanel Makeup Creation Studio.
Capturing this gleaming light and its healthy glow, the collection is an uplifting edit of radiant shades. The two covetable highlighter palettes – one a satin-pink and rose-gold duo, the other a muted orange and coppery bronze – add instant glow. Also in the collection is the five-shade eyeshadow palette of matts and shimmers in rosewood brown, coppers and subtle coral.
Then there are the Rouge Coco Flash lip balms ranging from beige to pink, and the sheer colour sticks and nail polishes that add tantalising pops of colour.
To celebrate the collection’s release, Chanel makeup artist Victoria Baron has created eight looks at once youthful and optimistic, yet also wearable and sophisticated.
Copper Accents

Shades of copper add interest and warmth to skin in an instant.
“This look uses the copper in the Les Beiges Healthy Glow Natural Eyeshadow Palette,” says Baron, who enlisted a small angle brush and “tapped the shade tight against the lash line”. Baron finished the eyes by curling the lashes and applying mascara in black.
Translucent Skin

“You don’t always have to wear a lot of makeup to get a beautiful look,” says Baron. For this look, Baron prepped the skin with Hydra Beauty Micro Sérum, then added Coco Flash lip balm in Sun Bliss and finished with Chanel Noir Allure mascara. “It’s so fresh and beautiful.”
“Sometimes, showcasing beautiful skin with just a hint of colour on the lips is enough”

In The Flush
Soft copper eyes and a warm flush give this look drama.

“I used the Golden Glow Powder compact in Soleil Couchant,” explains Baron, who combined the shades with a fluffy brush “then went back over the top with the orange and coppery shades on their own to boost the intensity”.
For the eyes, Baron used the matt shades of the eye palette in Golden and finished with Rouge Coco Flash lip balm in Sunset.
Crimson Cues

A stunning red nail can both change and complete a look. “We used Le Vernis in Incandescente, which is a beautiful orangey-red shade,” says Baron.
“I wanted the skin to look really iridescent, so we used the gold in the eye palette as a cheek highlight.” The lips pulled the look together with a swipe of Rouge Coco Flash in Sunset, which Baron describes as “a sienna-toned pink”.
Balancing Act

Using watermelon hues on both eyes and lips perfectly balances this look.
“I used the Healthy Glow Sheer Colour Stick in Refresh on the eyes, buffing in the colour with a big fluffy brush before blending out the edges with fingers,” explains Baron, who finished off with black mascara. “For the lips I dabbed on the Colour Stick in Reset, which is a lovely orange.”
Punchy Pinks

Make a statement with lips swiped with translucent pinky-red. “This Rouge Coco Flash in Sun Kiss is such a beautiful colour,” says Baron, who added gold eyeshadow at both the inner and outer corners of the eyes to complete the look.
