Cartier Opens Its First New Zealand Boutique

Cartier has opened the doors to its first boutique in New Zealand, marking a new chapter for the Maison’s presence across Oceania. Located at 66 Queen Street in Auckland, the 376-square-metre space occupies the heritage-listed former Imperial Hotel, dating to 1883.

Blending Cartier’s Parisian elegance with Aotearoa’s natural and artistic heritage, the boutique features bespoke works by New Zealand creatives, alongside the Maison’s jewellery, fine watchmaking, bridal creations, leather goods, accessories and fragrances.

Trenery x Camie Lyons Limited-Edition Capsule

Australian lifestyle brand Trenery has joined forces with Sydney-based artist Camie Lyons on a limited-edition capsule where art and fashion converge in a study of movement, material and form. Comprising five pieces, the collection translates Lyons’ expressive linework into fluid silk satin garments and a silk twill scarf, rendered in a restrained palette of coffee and parchment.

A sculptural gold-plated brooch, inspired by one of her bronze works, completes the offering. Informed by Lyons’ background in contemporary dance, the collection is designed to move with the body through draping and bias-cut construction.

Reflecting on the capsule, Lyons revealed, “I’ve always wanted to see how my drawings hung on fabric. But nothing could have prepared me for that absolute wow moment of seeing them moving on silk. It took my breath away.”

The Trenery x Camie Lyons Limited-Edition capsule collection is available in selected Trenery stores and online.

Dior’s New Prestige Cream Claims To Reverse Skin’s Cellular Age By 10 Years

Powered by Dior’s most concentrated Rose de Granville complex yet, Dior Prestige La Crème targets 10 visible signs of ageing – from wrinkles and firmness to radiance and skin density.

There’s a new luxe cream in town – and it comes with some seriously impressive claims. Dior has unveiled Prestige La Crème, an indulgent revitalising cream powered by patented Rosapeptide-3™. The result of 50 years of Dior skincare research, the formula is three times more concentrated in the maison’s signature Rose de Granville complex and, according to ex-vivo testing, can reverse the cellular age of skin by 10 years. Consider our attention captured.

The star ingredient is the Rose de Granville, Dior’s first cosmetic rose, developed from a remarkably resilient wild rose discovered growing on the windswept cliffs of Normandy. Naturally rich in 22 micronutrients, it now sits alongside patented Micro-Filler™ technology to deliver an immediate smoothing and plumping effect while targeting 10 visible signs of ageing in just two months – including wrinkles, firmness, density, radiance and skin texture.

And the results are suitably luxurious. Clinical testing found that wrinkles appeared reduced by 20 per cent, while skin was measured as three times denser, nine times smoother and five times firmer after two months of use. Dior facialist and spa wellness ambassador Hadda Akrim has even created a sculpting application ritual, dubbed the “choreography of the Rose”, to help amplify the cream’s benefits. A rich texture, serious skincare science and a little French glamour? Très chic.

All results and claims are based on Dior testing. Cellular-age claim based on an ex-vivo test of Rosapeptide-3™. Visible results are clinically proven across wrinkles, density, smoothing, lifting, firmness, elasticity, radiance, plumping, facial contours and skin texture.

Louis Vuitton Launches First-Ever Beauty Collaboration Between Nicolas Ghesquière & Pat McGrath

Louis Vuitton is extending its fashion lexicon into beauty with a new limited-edition collaboration between Nicolas Ghesquière and Dame Pat McGrath. The collection marks their first official beauty collaboration, building on more than two decades of creative exchange backstage at Louis Vuitton’s runway shows, where McGrath has translated Ghesquière’s fashion into beauty looks that embody the mood and character of each collection.

To mark the 130th anniversary of the Louis Vuitton Monogram, the collection draws upon two of the House’s most recognisable canvases: Monogram Dune and Monogram Infrarouge. Their opposing sensibilities form the collection’s central tension. Dune evokes warmth, luminosity and understated refinement, while Infrarouge embraces saturated colour, dramatic contrast and a more unapologetically commanding mood.

The resulting edit spans eyeshadow palettes, satin lipsticks and luminous topper balms, with each shade conceived as an interpretation of its respective canvas. The collaboration also extends beyond cosmetics, with coordinating leather goods and accessories designed to carry the beauty collection into the wider rituals of everyday life.

Those small moments to clear my mind and recharge are what let me show up fully for everything else,” Jisoo says.

The reunion also see the brand launch its Fall collection, with the star pictured in its Pink Marshmallow colourway.

For Fall/Winter 2026, Marina Rinaldi turns its attention to the expressive power of the silhouette with Shape of Joy, a collection that brings the house’s tailoring heritage into a more fluid, contemporary vocabulary.

The runway explores movement through softly sculpted proportions, precise construction and an elegant, considered palette, with the curve treated not as something to disguise but as a defining element of the clothes.

Across the collection, traditional Italian craftsmanship is balanced with a freer sense of femininity, while intricate details and carefully developed fabrics underscore the artistry behind each look. The result is a confident, modern vision of luxury dressing.

House Of Denim

The New Trend has announced House of Denim, a six-month residency with AGOLDE and Citizens of Humanity, opening Saturday, August 15 at 1071 High Street, Armadale. Bringing both brands’ women’s and men’s collections together, the space is billed as a destination for premium denim and contemporary dressing, with curated brand moments, exclusive launches and seasonal experiences unfolding over the residency — plus a first look at The New Trend’s future menswear direction.

Michael Hill Expands Men’s Jewellery Collection

Michael Hill has expanded its men’s jewellery offering with 26 new pieces, as men’s jewellery continues its shift from occasion wear to everyday essential. Building on the brand’s core collection of chains and wrist pieces, the range moves beyond traditional watches and wedding bands to include bracelets, pendants, rings, semi-precious gems and pearls designed to be layered and personalised. Crafted from sterling silver, gold, freshwater pearls and semi-precious gemstones, the collection is priced from AUD$149.

“We’ve seen celebrities, musicians and sports stars confidently wearing jewellery in their everyday style, and that’s really helped normalise it for a broader consumer,” said Toni Zehrer, Chief Product Officer at Michael Hill. “Whether it’s a statement ring, a layered bracelet or a timeless pendant, the range is made to be versatile and easy to wear… It fits naturally into a modern wardrobe, while still feeling confident and distinctly masculine.”

Dior Toujours Hobo Goes From Runway To Stores

Meet the newest addition to Dior’s arm-candy roster: a Hobo reinterpretation of the Toujours, unveiled at the House’s Autumn/Winter 2026-2027 womenswear show. Jonathan Anderson has taken the beloved style and given it a slouchy new silhouette — all soft, rounded curves and an enveloping shape that still carries the House’s signature cannage stitching front and centre. It’s structured but relaxed, polished but easy, striking exactly the kind of balance Anderson seems to be chasing in this new chapter at Dior.

Practicality hasn’t been sacrificed for the sake of desirability, either. The bag’s generous volume makes it a genuine everyday option, while a removable shoulder strap means it can be worn hands-free or carried by hand depending on the moment. A CD Lock clasp adds a subtle, sculptural finishing touch, and the colour story runs from pastel to deep-toned leathers, with warmer, autumnal suedes rounding things out — plus playful “D, I, O, R” letter charms for a little extra flourish. Consider it your next It-bag: in stores and online from July.
