The Best Tinted Brow Gels For Instant Fullness

Including the $6 favourite of Zoƫ Foster Blake

Ever since bolder, fluffier brows hit peak popularity, many of us have grappled with all the different products that can be used to achieve said face-framing fullness.

From soap brows, to pomades and pencils, there’s a tool for every hair-like flick and fill-in you may desire.

But if you ask us, the best brow invention has been tinted brow gels, hands down.

They’re quick to use, requiring a simple brush-through method that adds height, definition and colour. A lot of them are formulated with plumping fibres too, for added thickness.

If you can use mascara, you can use a tinted brow gel. If you prefer a feathered brow look, brush upwards, or for a more tailored, sleek brow, switch to a downwards stroke for the tail.

Because although easy to use, they’re just as versatile too.

Here are some of our favourites for creating a put-together brow look in minutes…

loreal

L’Oréal Artist Brow Plumper, $19.95 at adorebeauty.com.au

The small angled brush makes this brow gel easy to manoeuvre, and once in place, the formula won’t budge. It’s water-resistant, but the product doesn’t dry out and as a result, will last you a long while.

benefit gimme brow

Benefit Gimme Brow+ Brow-Volumizing Gel, $45, sephora.com.au

Gimme Brow was around long before brow gel was even a thing, and is easily one of the best on the market. In fact, people love it so much, the brand just released a jumbo size featuring twice the amount of product. With a broad spectrum of shades to choose from, it’s definitely one to look at if you’re yet to find a match. Redheads, take note.

hourglass

Hourglass Arch Brow Volumizing Fiber Gel, $45 at mecca.com.au

Featuring a dual-sided brush, the Hourglass gel is ideal for those after versatile and long-lasting brow looks. The short bristle side helps to build intensity and fullness, while the longer bristle side is great for combing through to style and lock into place.

rimmel

Rimmel London Wonder’Full Brow, $15.95 at priceline.com.au

A great dupe for Glossier’s Boy Brow, the small brush of Rimmel’s gel provides precise application, making it ideal for sparse brows. A fresh tube can lay it on thick to begin with, so try wiping away any excess at first if this is the case.

wunderbrow

WUNDER2 WUNDERBROW Eyebrow Gel, $35 at priceline.com.au

In terms of staying power, Wunderbrow will have your brows well and truly locked down, come rain, hail or shine. The gel provides intense coverage for those who like a bold look, or have little brow to begin with. It comes with a spoolie wand, but try using it with an angle brush to target gaps first, and then brush through.

flower beauty

Flower Brow Master Mascara, $7.99 at chemistwarehouse.com.au

As the brain-child of Drew Barrymore, Flower Beauty is all about affordable and convenient makeup for everyone. The brow mascara features both an applicator wand, and a separate comb, so you can confidently do your brows no matter where you are, or how little time you have.

nyx

NYX Tinted Brow Mascara, $6 at priceline.com.au

A favourite of beauty boss Zoë Foster Blake, this brow mascara is an absolute steal for the price. It’s available in three shades and provides a natural-looking finish for those who just need some extra definition and grooming to get them out the door.
