This week, multiple reports surfaced that suggested Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk were “questioning” their relationship. Now, People confirmed the couple has officially called it quits. An insider told the outlet that the two are “are amicably working out how to share custody of their daughter Lea De Seine.”
The A Star Is Born director and model, who are parents to 2-year-old daughter Lea De Seine Shayk Cooper, have been the subject of breakup rumours for months. During this year’s award season, split speculation began to mount Shayk and Cooper’s relationship was struggling due to his undeniable chemistry with A Star Is Born co-star Lady Gaga. Gaga even had to set the record straight, shutting down romance rumours involving her and Cooper.
Despite an overdrive of reports online, the couple put on a united front as they attended the 2019 Oscars together.

Months later, Shayk attended the 2019 Met Gala alone. The couple had walked the red carpet together just one year earlier.
However, the couple has kept their relationship private from the very beginning, rarely commenting about their romance to the media. The pair first sparked relationship rumours in April 2015 when they were spotted attending a Broadway show together. After that time, cameras continued to spot Cooper and Shayk together at places around the world, which seemingly confirmed their romance.
Then, about two years after sparking romance rumours, the couple welcomed their first child together.

This week a source allegedly told Page Six, “Because of their daughter, they keep trying. Things are not good. Neither one is happy.”
While another source reportedly told E! News, “Things get a little bit better but then they find themselves back in the same place of questioning whether being a couple is what’s best. They want to stay together for their daughter, but neither of them are very happy.”
“They’ve spent time apart to test the waters and see if they are better off,” the source continues. “They have a lot invested and it’s very difficult to completely walk away from. They are trying out different arrangements and trying to find their way. They love their little girl dearly and that’s not going to change no matter what.”
Another report from The Sun claimed the Russian model has moved out of their shared home. “Things are cooling off between Bradley and Irina in a big way,” an alleged source told the publication. “They haven’t been good for a few months and Irina decided it would be best if she moved into her own place.”
“It’s not looking like there’s much long left for the two of them together.”
While reports have confirmed the split, the couple is yet to formally comment.
