"A lifelong dream (18 months) fulfilled today for miles!" she joked in the caption.
The photo was beautiful and showed genuine joy on the firefighter’s face as he met with two young fans.
But one online troll saw fit to turn the sweet moment into a nasty one.
"So this is what the fire departments do rather than put out the 10 fires currently in LA... nice,” they wrote.
Chrissy took offense and wasted no time writing back.
"What a f*cking prick you are," she said.
And the Queen of Instagram wins again.
More than 2400 of Chrissy's followers were equally offended by the troll’s disrespect and ignorance towards the LA firefighters who put their lives on the line to save others. They jumped in with their own comments:
“Stop being selfish. They put their lives on the line for people everyday! If they wanted to take a pic on their free time which I'm sure is slim to none, don't judge them on it! Have some damn compassion,” one commenter wrote.
“Can you imagine the joy brought to this brave firefighter after what he’s likely been through over the past several weeks? This is what it’s all about. They are heroes and they deserve to be recognized as heroes. This is a beautiful photo of that happening in real life,” said another Chrissy fan.
“As a wife of a hard working professional firefighter, I couldn’t have said it any better! Thank you. 🙌🏽” someone said in response to Chrissy’s remark.
