Sixteen years on and we’re still mourning one of television’s greatest sitcoms, Friends, and the reality is, our obsession is not slowing down any time soon. Late last year, Jennifer Aniston broke the internet when she joined social media platform Instagram, commemorating her arrival with the ultimate Friend’s reunion post. Now, Courteney Cox has recreated the infamous Friends “routine” with her 15-year-old daughter Coco Arquette – giving it a 2020 update.

The mother and daughter duo performed some of the most memorable dance moves from Ross and Monica Gellar’s routine in a TikTok Coco posted online. Although the dance is a little different from the original, it’s impossible to miss the stand-out pieces of choreography that are thrown in the mix.
We’ll let you watch the clip for yourselves.
From the shimmy to the uncannily synced knee-kick, the Cox-Arquette choreography is the perfect reboot of the Gellar routine.
In 2018, Courteney and Coco discussed their close mother-daughter relationship with People and how the pair were planning on tackling Coco’s teenage years.
"We bicker, let’s be honest, but we love each other," Cox said. "We laugh a lot, for sure."
"I would also describe it as, well, I am a 13-year-old girl, you are a mom, so I love you, but of course we’re gonna get in fights," Coco added. "But we’re very close. Very close. I love you a lot."
Based on the recent video, we’d have to say that it looks like their tactics have worked pretty well.
