Courteney Cox talked to Bear Grylls on Running Wild with Bear Grylls on Monday during an adventure to Ireland.
When Bear asked her if there was pressure to look a certain way after her fame from Friends, Courteney got real with him about the pressures on women in Hollywood.
"Yeah, for sure," she said. "I think there's a pressure to maintain that, and not just because of fame, but being a woman in this business.
"Getting older - I don't think that's the easiest thing, but I have learned lessons."
She opened up about her experience with cosmetic procedures, saying that she hasn't been proud of her choices.
"I think I was trying to keep up with getting older. I was trying to chase that, something you can't keep up with. So the more you relax into it, and the less I try... because sometimes you find yourself trying and then you look at a picture of yourself and go "Oh god!", you look horrible.
"I have done things I regret, and luckily, they're things that dissolve and go away. So that's good, because it's not always been my best look."
But she also spoke about the good things about getting older. She has loved watching her daughter, Coco Arquette, grow up, and looks forward to helping her through life.
"I'm glad I've been through it, and learned enough now to actually help her get through it."
