The dress was so intricate, that it took over 640 hours to create. But the most significant detail wasn’t on the dress itself, but on the wedding veil and the collar. Like Meghan Markle and her embroidered veil, Ellie asked the designer to personalise it for her.
The airy and delicate silk tulle veil and organza collar were embroidered with the bride and groom’s initials: E and C - the initials of the bride and groom.
Guests included Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Cressida Bonas and Sienna Miller.
Later in the evening, Ellie would change her gown another four times.
In an Instagram post, Ellie shared a series of images of herself standing in a grand hallway during her wedding weekend, wearing a black gown by Carolina Herera. "My beautiful dark twisted fantasy," the singer wrote.
