Jonathan Anderson, roughly a year into his tenure as creative director — the first designer since Monsieur Dior himself to oversee the entire house — staged his debut Cruise show at the newly opened David Geffen Galleries at LACMA. It was nothing short of cinematic, and the front row matched the occasion beat for beat.

Centred around Dior’s longstanding relationship with Hollywood, the collection explored the intersection of cinema, art, Californian culture, and the dreamlike mythology of Los Angeles — and Anderson made sure the audience reflected exactly that. Spotted taking their seats were Miley Cyrus, Sabrina Carpenter, Al Pacino, Jisoo of Blackpink, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jeff Goldblum, Tracee Ellis Ross, Maude Apatow, Mikey Madison, Grace Gummer, Miles Teller, and Sophie Wilde.
Fellow Dior ambassadors Jisoo and Anya Taylor-Joy were delighted to reunite, warmly embracing as cameras flashed around them and fans clamoured for the perfect shot. Meanwhile, all eyes were on Sabrina Carpenter, who donned a sheer butter-yellow gown; the very same that opened the show. Meanwhile, Miley Cyrus — looking relaxed in a full denim look — talked about how special it was for Dior to come to Hollywood, bringing a high-fashion moment to her hometown.
After the runway, guests got a private preview of the David Geffen Galleries before Dior took over Chateau Marmont entirely for the night. Champagne, margaritas, In-N-Out burgers, and karaoke were all hallmarks of the after party.
