Kylie Jenner surprised us all by closing the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show this year. For her debut in the show on October 18, 2026, the reality star wore the most valuable Fantasy Bra ever, worth USD $50 million (around AUD $71.7 million). Other iterations of the Fantasy Bra haven’t been featured in the show since 2018.
Jacob & Co. Jewelry, who designed Jenner’s piece in collaboration with Victoria’s Secret, wrote in an Instagram post that the bra had taken 1,000 hours and 15 artisans to make, and that it showcased 4,410 natural diamonds. The bra’s hero piece is a 75.54-carat natural Fancy Vivid Yellow diamond, surrounded by 4,409 diamonds, which all together total 1,373 carats.
“What began as a pencil sketch became a masterpiece of jewelry engineering,” the post read. “Crafted from 3,218 individually designed components, the creation moves with the body like lingerie, combining the brilliance of high jewelry with the fluidity of fashion.”
Many fans weren’t too happy with Kylie Jenner being picked for a Fantasy Bra, commenting on a collab post of Jenner in the bra, shared by Victoria’s Secret and Jacob and Co.
“Imagine being a hard worker model and then they just gave it to someone who is famous,” write one fan. “I like Kylie but this wasn’t a good decision.” Another comment, which has racked up over 1000 likes, reads: “Wtf was thatt!!!!! She’s not an angel!!!!”.
“The audience didn’t get the show they deserved, and the models didn’t get the recognition they deserved,” read another. “Meanwhile, influencers who barely influence anyone seem to get everything they want. What a joke.”
Earlier this month, Romee Strijd shared two TikToks, explaining she hadn’t made the cut for this year’s show. Strijd, who walked in the VS shows from 2014 to 2018 and is now a mum to two, said she hadn’t heard anything for weeks after attending this year’s casting.
On this year’s line-up choices – and omissions – The Daily Beast found one Reddit user to have commented: “Seems like they’re more focusing on early 20s TikTok stars, influencers and models that are very big on social media now.”

Kylie Jenner’s mum Kris Jenner and boyfriend Timothee Chalamet were seen in the crowd, cheering her on. Sister Kendall Jenner, though, who made her VS show debut in 2015 and walked again in 2016 and 2018, didn’t join this year’s line-up and hasn’t yet shared why. She attended the Academy Museum Gala in LA with her boyfriend Jacob Elordi on Saturday, October 17, a day before the VS show.
