Tony Abbott’s daughter, Frances Abbott, just announced her engagement to former Olympic rower, Sam Loch.
The 26-year-old took to Instagram to share the surprise announcement, revealing she’s only been dating Loch for two weeks.
“Two weeks was all it took to know that forever with you was a mighty fine idea. #engaged #feyoncé #crazyinlove… #whywait #letsdothis,” she wrote, alongside black and white photos of the couple.
Loch, 34, also shared the engagement news to his social media, writing: “With the soon to be Mrs Loch 💍”
Until now, the pair has kept their relationship under wraps with Frances referring to herself as single just last month.
The former-Prime Minister’s daughter recently made headlines after she campaigned for same-sex marriage, while her father headed the ‘No’ campaign.
In the video, the fitness trainer says: “Love just happens sometimes and it’s unexpected and that’s kind of what’s the awesome thing about it.”
