In case you missed it, Lady Gaga blast onto screens around the world yesterday for the Super Bowl Sunday Halftime Show.

Dressed in a glittering, futuristic outfit, she performed acrobatics and impressive dance moves on the stage, but there was one move people couldn’t take their eyes off of.

Lady Gaga ‘jumped’ off the roof of the stadium, and the camera focused in on lights in the background, which formed an American flag. Relive it below:

Naturally, the Internet jumped on it, and has already turned it into a variety of memes:

But it turns out that the moment wasn’t as authentic as we might think. Officials working with Intel Drones confirmed with The Washington Post that the moment was in fact filmed beforehand.

The reason behind filming it beforehand was that they wanted to avoid any weather problems that might get in the way. 

Watching from the audience, the transition is pretty seamless, as Lady Gaga falls down on a harness from the roof, and you couldn’t see where she’d come from. Sneaky!
