Dinner with the in-laws never looked so good—Comedy duo Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann’s daughter Iris Apatow is now dating Ryder Robinson, son of Hollywood golden girl Kate Hudson.
Ryder, who is 18, shared two loved-up pictures of himself with Iris, 19, on Instagram for Valentines Day, captioning the snap with a simple love heart, seemingly taking their relationship status from official, to Instagram official.
They’ve clearly already got their parents seal of approval—Hudson wrote on her son’s post, “Sweets”, while Mann shared several love heart emojis.
It’s understood the pair have been dating for several weeks, with Ryder having commented on a number of Iris’ recent posts on Instagram.
The 19-year-old, who is the younger sister of Euphoria breakout star Maude Apatow, is paving her own path after appearing in several of her famous father’s movies as a child actor, including This Is 40 and Knocked Up.
These days, she appears to be living the influencer’s dream, having wracked up more than 600,000 Instagram followers as she shares moments from her life with her celebrity pals, including famed singer, Olivia Rodrigo.
Maude, who has her own cult following, previously told Interview magazine that out of anyone who scares her, it’s her little sister: “Because somehow she became cooler than me.”
Ryder, who is Kate Hudson’s oldest son with her ex-husband, The Black Crowes musician Chris Robinson, also appears to have his own plans in acting. Along with sharing supportive posts for his famous mum’s work, his recent updates reveal he also dabbles in film making and music.
After turning 18 in January, Hudson shared a sweet tribute video for her son on Instagram, writing: “My heart is filled with love and excitement for your future. Ryder you incredible, unique, hilarious, loving human, I love you beyond. Happiest Birthday @mr.ryderrobinson PS Now your life is your responsibility and outta my hands! Good luck son!!!”
We’ve got no doubt both Ryder and Iris will be ones to watch in Hollywood.
