She's blessed us with new photos.

In July 2022, almost 20 years after their first engagement, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck tied the knot in Las Vegas. On a late August weekend, the pair sealed the deal with a second nuptials.

Back in July, Lopez announced that the pair had officially married via her newsletter, sharing a series of images from their wedding celebrations, mere days after the event. The photos showed fans a glimpse of JLo’s white wedding dress—an off-shoulder style with a sweetheart neckline, and she also wore a white veil.

“We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient,” she wrote in her announcement.

She added that the pair made it to the ceremony after midnight, “So with the best witnesses you could ever imagine, a dress from an old movie and a jacket from Ben’s closet, we read our own vows in the little chapel and gave one another the rings we’ll wear for the rest of our lives.”

“In the end, it was the best possible wedding we could have imagined. One we dreamed of long ago and one made real (in the eyes of the state, Las Vegas, a pink convertible, and one another) at very, very long last.”

Signing off, Lopez simply wrote: “Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck.”

While their marriage has felt like a longtime coming, fans have been left wanting more grandiose from the pop star. And now, it seems as if Lopez and Affleck gave the people what they wanted.

When and where did Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have their second wedding?

Affleck and Lopez tied the knot in a three-day celebration in mid-August on Affleck’s 87-acre property in Georgia.

The location caused some controversy given that Affleck had previously tried to sell the Greek Revival ‘imitation’ plantation—per Page Six, one of Affleck’s ancestors was a slave-owning Georgia sheriff who likely lived there.

In 2018, Affleck put the property on the market for $8.9 million, but he dramatically lowered the price in 2019 to $7.6 million. Then, he took it off the market completely.

Who was invited to Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s second wedding?

Per reports, Matt Damon, Jimmy Kimmel, Casey Affleck and Drea de Matteo were in attendance for the big day.

According to People, an insider told the outlet that the bigger wedding is purely for the couple’s families and friends, since the official ceremony has already taken place.

“They don’t have a honeymoon planned yet. Jennifer says that every day with Ben is a honeymoon. Ever since they started dating again, Jennifer has truly believed that this is it,” the source said.

“She is looking forward to growing old with Ben. She is very happy and content with Ben. She couldn’t ask for anything else. She thinks it’s all perfect.”

After they got hitched in Las Vegas, the newlyweds made their way to Paris, where fans spotted the couple getting dinner, strolling hand-in-hand throughout the City of Love and riding boats.

What happened on Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s wedding day?

On September 1, nearly two weeks after she married Affleck for the second time, Lopez shared some highly-anticipated details about their nuptials through her On the JLo newsletter.

Kicking off the newsletter, Lopez spoke about Affleck’s wedding speech and how he used a romantic line from his 2016 movie Live By Night that she thought was “perfect”.

“This is heaven. Right Here. We’re in it now,” he said, as per JLo, to which she recalled, “I thought…how perfect”.

But just like every wedding day, stress levels were high because the weather had apparently been temperamental all week.

“It had rained at sunset every day that week. Everyone was worried about the heat, the aptly named ‘love bugs,’ the details, would the guests all arrive on time, etc.—not to mention the thunder and lightning that arrived almost on cue each day at the exact time the ceremony was supposed to start that Saturday,” she wrote.

That wasn’t all, Lopez recalled how multiple members of her bridal party had been recovering from a stomach bug in the lead up to the wedding, along with other “unexpected setbacks”, like the medical emergency fans heard about prior to the wedding.

“The truth is, I never had one doubt,” Lopez wrote, adding, “All week I felt the calm and easy certainty that we were in God’s hands…”

When it came to music, many have heard that Lopez sung a new song to Affleck as a special wedding surprise, but that wasn’t actually their wedding song. According to Lopez, Marc Cohn agreed to serenade the newlyweds with “True Companion”, which was the song they’d chosen for their original wedding that never came to fruition, twenty years ago.

And to add even more sweetness to the special day, she shared that all five of the couple’s children, from her past relationship with Marc Anthony and his with Jennifer Garner, walked down the aisle ahead of the bride.

“The twenty years between those dreams of youth and the adult world of love and family we embraced that day, brought more to this marriage than either of us ever could have imagined,” she wrote. “We weren’t only marrying one another; we were marrying these children into a new family.”

“Ben told me that the chords of the song and seeing Marc Cohn both shocked him and allowed him to feel the way both roads we had walked found their way, inevitably, inexorably, and perfectly together,” she continued. “And when he saw me appear at the top of the stairs that moment it both made absolute sense while seeming still impossibly hard to believe, like the best dream, where all you want is never to awaken.”

“I would have had many of the same thoughts probably had I not been focusing so hard on not tripping over my dress, but when I got close enough to see his face, it made the same wonderful sense to me. Some old wounds were healed that day and the weight of the past finally lifted off our shoulders. Full-circle—and not at all the way we planned it. Better.”

When she was finished making her fans tear up, Lopez shared new photos from the jam-packed weekend of wedding celebrations, from the rehearsal dinner to the post-wedding brunch. Check them out below:
