John Legend’s not a happy dad.
Taking to Twitter on Tuesday to defend his wife Chrissy Teigen against “mum-shaming” Internet trolls, the 37-year-old expressed his distaste for the relentless criticism through one, single tweet.
“Funny there’s no dad-shaming,” he posted. “When both of us go to dinner, shame both of us so Chrissy doesn’t have to take it all. We’ll split it.”
He definitely makes a point, right? It seems that no matter what Chrissy does, she seems to get some sort of backlash on social media. She goes out for dinner a few days after giving birth to beautiful baby Luna, she gets slammed. She shares pics of herself at home celebrating her first Mother’s Day, and she gets accused of of being insensitive.
Fortunately, we think Chrissy’s get enough sass to take it all in her stride…(but her adorable husband’s support would definitely be helping).
