At the year’s biggest celebrity divorce continues to play out, Johnny Depp has opted for the low road, taking a dig at ex wife Amber Heard.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star has reportedly had the tattoo on his knuckles which once read ‘Slim’ – Heard’ nickname – changed to now read ‘Scum’.
According to US Weekly, eagle-eyed fans noticed the subtle dig on the 53-year-old during a gig with his band The Hollywood Vampires over the weekend.
It appears Johnny has also altered the other tattoo that he had dedicated to his young bride, a photo of her as a pin-up on his bicep, which now appears to be covered over with another image.
It’s not the first time Johnny has been forced to alter a tattoo due to a failed relationship, with the actor famously changing his ‘WinonaForever’ tattoo dedicated to his then love Winona Ryder, to instead read ‘WinoForever’ when they split.
Heard filed a declaration to withdraw her temporary spousal support request, claiming it had been “used against her to distract and divert the public away from the very serious real issue of domestic violence,” according to documents obtained by E! News.
The couple had been due to appear in Court in California on June 16 however the appearance was called off and the couple have remained tight-lipped since.
