In yet another mishap for the Trump family, Ivanka Trump has been slammed for an insensitive tweet on Memorial Day in the US.
“Make champagne popsicles this #MemorialDay,” Ivanka’s lifestyle brand posted on Twitter. The post linked to the president’s daughter’s website, with ideas about how to enjoy the summer holiday.
While we love the idea of champagne popsicles (we may or may not be searching google for the recipe right now), it seems there’s a right time and place for the icy treat.
Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the US to honour those who died serving in the country’s armed service.
