On last nightโ€™s episode of Sunday Night, the TV host and actress revealed that things got so bad, it almost ended in murder.

โ€œYou know, you just realise that when somebody is 6โ€2โ€™, crazy off their head โ€“ doesnโ€™t matter which room you run into, all you do is close your eyes and wait for it to be over. Because itโ€™s pointless,โ€ the 64-year-old, who is now remarried said.

โ€œI think eventually you just go, โ€˜I think I will be deadโ€™.โ€

One night, when Miller was โ€œbeing very bullying and aggressive and nasty againโ€, Kerri-Anne decided to stand up for herself โ€“ with a gun.

โ€œHe always had a .22 rifle above the door in the bedroom. So I just remember I was actually quite calm about it.โ€

โ€œI just went and got the gun, aimed it at him and said, โ€˜I will shoot youโ€™.

โ€œI was in a lot of trouble.โ€

When asked by Sunday Night host Angela Cox if she would have pulled the trigger, Kennerley answered: โ€œI think I probably would haveโ€.

In April this year, Kennerley was inducted into the Logies Hall of Fame after over 50 years in the Australian media. She dedicated the honour to John Kennerley โ€“ her current husband who sheโ€™s been happily married to for 33 years. The โ€œhappy endingโ€ to one โ€œhell of a storyโ€.
