A Photo Of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Country Home Is Sparking Controversy

Fans are concerned

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have plenty of options when it comes to where they spend their days. The couple have three homes – a generous pad in the grounds of Kensington Palace, alongside Prince William and Kate Middleton, their Frogmore Cottage in Windsor and a rented country home in Cotswold.

Very few details exist on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s third residence, but reporter Emily Andrews has shared a new photograph of the country hideaway.

The picture was released by the Sun, who claim the snap was taken at the back of the residence in 2011 and was “published on a freely-accessible and public document.”

However, many readers are unhappy with the images circulation.

Voicing their displeasure to Twitter, royal fans called the photo an “invasion of the couple’s privacy.”

Harry and Meghan’s Cotswolds home is private and not paid for by UK taxpayers, and therefore cannot be photographed and distributed without the homeowners consent.

Andrews, the reporter behind the image, attests the picture was taken from a real estate website, which is how images of celebrity homes usually make the rounds on news outlets.
