Literally music to our ears

There’s only one thing better than Channing Tatum, and that’s Channing Tatum serenading you on the piano.

The 36-year-old Magic Mike star put all our New Year’s resolutions to shame, by learning how to play the piano and filming the event (and looking positively dreamy while doing so).

Although it may be music to our ears, Tatum seemed less impressed, discussing his “brutal” progress in a black and white video uploaded to Instagram.

“I’m going to shame myself into getting better by showing you, where I’m at,” Tatum said in the video as he sat down at the piano. “Two and a half weeks into learning how to the play the piano. Bear with me, this is going to be brutal.”

Despite his modesty, the actor impressed followers with his rendition of Beethoven’s “Fur Elise”.

Perhaps if there’s a sequel to La-La Land, Tatum could make an appearance with his piano skills? Ryan Gosling, beware.
