Farmer Wants A Wife season 15 had barely started when Farmer Jarrad connected with Chloe, and while early signs pointed to a possible pairing, there was still weeks of uncertainty ahead.
Throughout the short (but drama-filled) weeks leading up to Farmer Jarrad’s final decision, we saw this year’s youngest contestant put his heart on the line to find his forever love.
Week after week, Farmer Jarrad and Chloe worked on building a strong foundation for their possible future – only with several other ladies also attempting to do the same. You know how these things go!
But their initial spark grew to something more pretty quickly, with Farmer Jarrad clearly honing in on Chloe from the get-go. When Channel 7 posted a shared Instagram carousel of Jarrad and Chloe’s first date, Chloe was among the first to comment. And what did she say? “This date felt like a movie.” It’s safe to say, sparks were flying!
Farmer Jarrad proved the most decisive of the four farmers by making romantic moves just three weeks into his Farmer Wants A Wife journey, when he chose to let go, not one, but two potential matches on episode 5.
While we knew he’d narrowed it down to two, we didn’t know he was going to make his selection only one episode later, drawing his time on the wholesome dating show to an end – albeit a successful one.
After some family visits and a day spent soul-searching, Farmer Jarrad declared his feelings for Chloe, in a sweet commitment ceremony-style ending.
“Communication is very important to me, and it’s massive in a relationship and I need a partner in my life who’s not scared to tell me exactly how it is in a moment,” the farmer shared.
“I am incredibly sorry for ever making you feel that you are unwanted. I need you to know that I’ll always do my best to do better every day, because from this point on, I’d love to spend every day with you,” he continued – much to Chloe’s elation.
“I really love how you are unreservedly yourself, you push me to wanna be a better man…I feel that I am falling for you and I do hope that you’re about ready to catch me because I do know that I’d be absolutely honoured to have you by my side.”
Chloe was quick to put his nerves at ease by returning the sentiment. “It’s a surreal feeling, you could be my future husband,” she replied.
Is Farmer Jarrad Still With Chloe?
The young farmer may have signed up for Farmer Wants A Wife with every intention of settling down and finding love, but if rumours are to be believed, he might be back on the market.
Farmer Jarrad and Chloe certainly left the show as fan favourites but whether they continued on as a couple for long is up for debate. According to sources, Jarrad has been spotted at several social outings sans Chloe, with one Daily Mail report alleging he “didn’t act like someone in a relationship” at a recent festival appearance.
Another source backed up the claims, revealing “he was chatting up women left and right. He even joked about being ‘done with dating show.’ Honestly, it seemed like he was single or just didn’t care who saw.”
In the days since, relationship woes have been racing around the young lovebirds, with an insider reportedly telling Woman’s Day that the pair were as short lived as Farmer Jarrad’s Farmer Wants A Wife production schedule. “They were together just a few days before Chloe and Jarrad both realised this was never going to be a long-term thing,” revealed the source.
“Jarrad apparently had a master plan from the get-go following his FWAW exit. While many within the Stanthorpe community, where he lives, know he was open to finding love, he made no secret this was also going to help his country music career. So he jumped in headfirst and in the end had a bit of fun.”
So are Farmer Jarrad and Chloe still together? While the show is still airing on Channel 7, and we have no rogue social media posts to confirm either way, we’ll have to wait until the season finale to get the final say. But as it stands, Jarrad may be still sowing his wild oats, for now.
