It’s almost time to head back to Hawkins (and Russia and The Upside Down) for Stranger Things season five.
And, judging by where we left off in season four which was dubbed the “beginning of the end” by the show’s creators, fans of the fantasy drama should strap in tight for the final season ahead.
Max’s life hangs in the balance, her heart having stopped for a full minute before Eleven managed to restart it. We finally know the origin of the series’ most formidable villain, Vecna, but now how to defeat him. And, the Upside Down is slowly but surely invading Hawkins.

Stranger Things Season 5 Release Date & Time In Australia
At their annual Tudum event, Netflix revealed that Stranger Things season five will drop in three parts. Drawing out our agonising wait for answers.
Volume one, consisting of the first four episodes of season five will be released in Australia on November 27th at 12 p.m. AEDT.
Volume two, consisting of episodes five to seven, will premiere on Boxing Day at 12 p.m. AEDT.
Volume three, the final episode, will drop on New Years Day, January 1 2026, at 12 p.m. AEDT.

Stranger Things Season 5 Trailer
Fans of Stranger Things have received their first snippet of a trailer ahead of season five as part of a much-anticipated date announcement from Netflix. While the clip mostly consists of flashback footage from the past four seasons the voice over of Joyce, teases what’s to come.
“I think about that night all the time…” she starts, “The night it came for you. The night all of this started.”
Noah is then heard saying: “Everything changed. We failed. But we need to be ready.” Watch below.
