Tina Arena To Celebrate 50-Year Career With First-Ever Residency

Tina Arena is set to celebrate her indelible 50-year career with her first-ever residency, bringing her 5.0 Residency Tour to Melbourne’s soon-to-be-unveiled Crown Live in August 2027.

The intimate 1,250-seat theatre will exclusively host the acclaimed singer’s only Australian shows of the year. Announced alongside the release of her new covers EP, Way of the World, the month-long residency will see the “Chains” singer take to the stage at the brand-new venue for a slew of special performances that celebrate her remarkable journey in music.

Sharing the news on Instagram, Arena reflected on the milestone, writing: “50 years since you first welcomed me into your lives through music. In August 2027, I’ll be celebrating that journey with something truly special – my 5.0 Residency Tour at the brand-new Crown Live in Melbourne, and my only Australian shows of the year. I can’t wait to share this next chapter with you.”

The announcement arrives amid a flurry of exciting projects for the singer, who, alongside the release of her EP Way of the World, saw her acclaimed documentary Tina Arena: Unravel Me make its Australian television premiere last weekend.

From her first appearance before Australian audiences on Young Talent Time in 1976 to an internationally celebrated career spanning five decades, Arena’s influence on Australian music remains indubitable.

As noted in an official statement, her achievements include 25 album releases and more than 10 million records sold worldwide, reflecting a career defined by her extraordinary talent, resilience and reinvention.

Arena’s residency at Crown’s new live entertainment venue will be the first of its kind, pairing “state-of-the-art production with an intimate concert setting, bringing Arena and her audience closer together across a month of performances.”
