Matthew McConaughey’s children were all grown up while attending Paris Fashion Week with their mother (McConaughey’s wife), Camila Alves.
The couple’s two eldest children, Levi (14) and Vida (13) were spotted accompanying their mother to the Stella McCartney Fall/Winter 2023 show, making quite the stylish family trio.
Clearly sharing her husband’s sense of style, Alves modelled a beige Western-style hat with a grey suit worn over a black bra.
Coordinating with their mother, the children also looked the part with Levi wearing a beige shacket over a matching plaid set and Vida modelling a graphic dress and sneakers.
The couple’s youngest child, ten-year-old Livingston was not in attendance.
Who Is Camila Alves?
Camila Alves is a Brazilian model and entrepreneur. When Alves was 19 years old, she moved from Brazil to New York City to pursue a career in modelling. It didn’t take long for Alves to make a name for herself, and the model starred in music videos for Chingy and Ne-Yo.
In 2008, Alves started designing women’s handbags with her mother under the label Muxo.
In the same year, Alves co-founded the Just Keep Livin Foundation with her husband, and in 2014 she launched the highly successful health and wellness platform Women Of Today.
How Did Camila Alves And Matthew McConaughey Meet?
Alves and McConaughey met at a West Hollywood nightclub called Hyde in 2006.
“She showed up, and she moved right to left in front of my eyes across that club,” the actor told PEOPLE, “It was as if she was floating. And I did not say, ‘Who is that?’ I said, ‘What is that?’ And then introduced myself. Since that evening, I have not wanted to spend time with any other woman.”
The couple had their first official date three nights later and the relationship was publicly confirmed in 2007.
Alves, who accompanied McConaughey to Australia to film Fool’s Gold, made her red carpet debut with the actor at the film’s premiere.
Reminiscing about the evening on an Instagram post, Alves wrote “I was so nervous, we had already been dating for a while and I had been to movie premieres with him but always sneaking in thru the back to keep our privacy.”
“This was the first time going ‘here we go’ the minute I stepped into the carpet the WIND picked up like crazy and this flowing knee length dress pretty quickly became crotch high! I laugh the whole way because if you can’t fix it may as well laugh right!”
In 2011, McConaughey proposed to Alves on Christmas day with a rose-cut Cathy Waterman engagement ring.
“It was the last gift to be opened and I wrapped it in seven different boxes so Camila would have to keep unwrapping,” McConaughey shared with PEOPLE “She got the ring, I took a knee and asked her to marry me and take my name. After a bit, she conceded … thankfully.”
The couple officially tied the knot in 2012.

The couple welcomed their eldest son Levi in 2008, their daughter Vida in 2010 and their youngest son Livingston in 2012.
The Dallas Buyers Club actor described his first year of fatherhood with a sweet post on his website written to announce his wife’s second pregnancy.
“Happy Father’s Day. It’s my first, and the last 11 months with Levi and Camila have been the most rewarding adventure to date,” McConaughey wrote on his website.
“We have more blessed news to celebrate this Father’s Day that makes this time next year double the fun. Levi is going to be a big brother … Yeah, we pulled off the greatest miracle in the world one more time.
“Camila and I are expecting our second child, bringing more life into the world, making more to live for. The future looks bright as the family grows and we thank you for all the well wishes you send our way. Viva la evolucion, naturally, and in the mean times and all time, just keep livin, Matthew and Camila.”
The actor also acknowledged his love for his family in his first Academy Awards speech, which he gave after winning Best Actor for his role in Dallas Buyers Club.
“To my wife, Camila, and my kids Levi, Vida and Mr. Stone: the courage and significance you give me every day when I go out the door is unparalleled,” McConaughey said. “You are the four people in my life I want to make the most proud of me.”
