From Onscreen Flames To Forever Loves — Ashton Kutcher & Mila Kunis’ Relationship To Date

We love this love story.

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have one of the sweetest relationships in Hollywood. After meeting each other on set for That 70s Show when Kunis was just 14, they’ve been in each others lives for longer than most celebrity couples can say — but, that doesn’t mean the path to their love story was exactly linear.

From lengthy relationships and one marriage to other people before a fateful reuniting, the pair ending up together was basically written in the stars once they’d had a few more life experiences under their belts.

As Kunis once said while on a podcast, they ended up being the right people at the right time when they wandered back into each others lives.

“The people that we were back then would never be together,” she said. “It’s just such a bummer that we missed out on 20 years together, but we would have never been together if we didn’t both go what we went through in order to be the people that we were when we met.”

Below, everything you need to know about the Hollywood couple’s enviable love life.

1998: They meet on That 70s Show

Anyone who watched the iconic teen sitcom, That 70s Show, would have instantly fallen in love with the chemistry between Kunis (Jackie Burkhart) and Kutcher (Michael Kelso) whose characters dated on the show. They were 14 and 20, respectively, when the pilot episode aired in 1998, with the significant age gap revealed to be a result of Kunis lying about her age to get the part.

Kunis’ first real life kiss was from Kutcher on the show, with the actress telling PEOPLE in 2001 that she had a huge crush on him.

“I was like, ‘Oh, he’s so cute, it’s the Calvin Klein model,” she said. “Then I was like, ‘I have to kiss him?’ I was so nervous and uncomfortable. I had the biggest crush on him.”

Kutcher, had no idea that this was her first kiss.

“I’m the first guy she kissed? Oh my god, I had no idea,” he told PEOPLE in 2001. “I’m so glad I didn’t know that or it would’ve been too much pressure.”

Kutcher left the series in 2005 after seven seasons, causing most of his contact with Kunis to cease, though they did keep in touch occasionally.

“It was the first time ever that I ever slept over at a guy’s house since becoming single …” she said. “When I was single, I was so adamant about never staying at a guy’s house, that I was like peacing out. And he was like, ‘You’re not leaving.’ And that was the first time [I didn’t.]”
