And while it’s comforting to reassure oneself that the entire population has been in the same boat, the endless solitude took a toll on many’s mental health and ability to appreciate life, following a year of immense loss of life. Which is why Amazon’s latest original series is here to hand out a positive perspective and drive home that one can be alone, but one doesn’t have to feel lonely.

Enter: Solos.

A seven-part anthology series, Solos follows the ups-and-downs of what it means to be human. Given the excess amounts of isolation that the pandemic implored us to endure, the Amazon series aims to spotlight how even in our loneliness moments, the human experience will always connect us. Jam-packed with Hollywood’s A-list, Solos is sure to be next on the must-watch list—and The Woman In The Window, of course.

What Is The Plot Of Solos?

Created by David Weil, Solos is an anthology series that consists of seven 30-minute episodes that explores what it means to be human, diving deep into the meaning behind human connection. An Amazon Prime synopsis, as per Cosmopolitan, that describes the series reads: “The series spans our present and future and illuminates that even during our most isolated moments we are all connected through the human experience.”

While information on the specifics of each character’s storyline is still under wraps, what we do know is that each episode is told from a different perspective and moment in time, illuminating the thought that even during our lowest, most lonely moments—which we’ve had plenty of in the last year—we are all connected through the human experience.
