Sydney Is Getting An Espresso Martini Festival

We are so here for this

Two things Sydney does exceptionally well? Espresso Martinis and Vivid, the annual festival that lights up the city come May.

Which is why we’re beyond excited for this latest Vivid off-shoot – the Mr Black Espresso Martini Fest. In Sydney for two nights only, May 26-27, the event is billed as a highly caffeinated, alcohol-fuelled fiesta taking over Cargo Bay, the warehouse space located inside The Rocks’ Overseas Passenger Terminal.

What can you expect? Think flowing espresso martinis made with Mr Black coffee liqueur, Mary’s Burgers and Loving Earth Chocolate, set to live music and Vivid’s always-impressive light show.

The festival will also be hosting espresso martini workshops and cold brew masterclasses so you can brush up on your cocktail-making skills.
