A few weeks ago, it was reported that Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart had ended their relationship of two years. After a few days of silence, the pair responded to the reports by posting their joint magazine cover for W, seemingly shutting down the rumours and joking about "reliable sources." However, the interview with W confirmed multiple times that the two had indeed broken up, without actually saying there was confirmation from the couple. The result? Utter chaos.
While some fans took Cole and Lili's posts to confirm things are happy in paradise, others took it to mean that they'd actually split ages ago and that all of the articles coming out were wrong. But it looks like we finally have clarity - and things are looking up for Betty and Jughead.
Taking to Instagram for Cole's birthday, Lili shared her version of a 'soppy' love poem, simultaneously confirming they're still in love (phew).
"I tried to find a poem
that I could send to you.
Because my words were failing me.
But I searched and found nothing that did you justice.
All of these love poems can’t get it right.
No one else’s words could ever fit.
They haven’t known the fortune it is to love you. -sappy nighttime birthday poem for @colesprouse", she wrote.
Fans quickly responded with one writing, "My heart just exploded" and another joking, "I think they’re still dating😂."
